The Neuroscience Program at Trinity College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level commencing with the 2016-2017 academic year. Applicants must have a PhD in Neuroscience or related field (post-doctoral experience preferred). The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a program of excellent empirical research in Neuroendocrinology and to engage bright, motivated undergraduate students in that research. We will consider any area within Neuroendocrinology and any methods, study systems or model species. The successful applicant will also have a strong commitment to undergraduate and interdisciplinary teaching in a liberal arts context.

Undergraduate teaching responsibilities include Principles of Neuroscience and Introduction to Neuroscience Methods courses and advanced courses in Neuroendocrinology. The teaching load is 2/2 for the first two years (and 3/2 thereafter).
