接下我们一起了解一下RISD建筑本科的申请信息：

BArch | 5-year program

继哈佛、耶鲁、MIT之后，RISD是新英格兰地区第四所为NAAB认证的独立院校。罗德岛建筑项目最具优势的一点就是能够集合美术(绘画和雕塑)和设计来达成建筑所学要的深度和广度。学生不仅可以受益于美术的强烈的视觉冲击也可以在课程中接受以人为本的教育理念。当然，喜欢动画、平面设计、版画以及雕塑的学生可以参与建筑学学习过程中。

Curriculum

课程中最为特殊的就是冬季6 周课程Winter Sessions (a 6-week periodbetween the Fall and Spring terms)。这个课程是以多元性著称，而这个课程对申请到罗德岛设计学院的学生是十分重要的，因为学生可以在此课程中学习到各项关于艺术方面的基础课程，例如绘画、工业设计、铜塑等其他课程，不同的系可以相互选择课程选修。

冬季班也可提供到海外学习的机会，可以让参与此课程的学生到欧洲巴黎、意大利 Matera 和爱丁堡等地学习观摩。

当然，项目的第五年，学生可以根据自身对建筑系统的深入的调查和分析，选择self-determined degree project进行最终的课业。
