留澳前需认清学校“成分” 公校名单大全

澳洲教育业遭遇信任危机，一系列私校从09年7月开始相继倒闭，仅悉尼地区就有Alfa Beta college, ITTI, Global College和Sterling College等私校宣布关门倒闭。

11月初，Global Campus Management/Meridian Group旗下私校的忽然倒闭，掀起了公众对澳洲国际教育业不信任的最高峰。

由于有众多中国留学生身陷澳洲私校倒闭风波中，澳洲留学生问题成为国内媒体近期重点关注的话题。

但两国教育体制的不同，导致国内部分媒体错误的理解澳洲倒闭学校的“成分”，误导了不少关心澳洲留学问题的学生和家长。

以最近倒闭的私校为例：Global Campus Management/Meridian Group旗下私校The Meridian International School，属于高中和技术专科学院相结合的院校。而技术专科学院（Technical and Further Education） ，简称TAFE，主要是学习参加工作时所需要的技能。

TAFE的“成分”是技术专科学院而不是大学,近期倒闭的私校，均属技术专科学院，或技术专科学院与高中相结合的院校，并不是国内报道的“澳洲大学倒闭”！

澳大利亚共有39所大学，其中只有2所私立大学，其余37所均属公立大学。而39所澳洲大学里，有8多大学在澳洲本土和国际上最具知名度，那就是留学生们口中的“8大”。

想要来澳洲留学深造的学生们首先要认清澳洲学校的“成分”，这样才能帮助自己合理安排留学目的地，避免不必要的恶性留学事件发生。

澳洲私立大学

Bond University，成立于1987年。University of Notre Dame Australia，成立于1989年。

8大——澳洲的常青藤盟校——八校联盟（Group of Eight）
